ITBH has been invited to WLAN Business Forum 2002 to present an excursus on 802.11b security problems. During the speech, the results of a wlan security survey conducted in Milan will be discussed.

Second Ethical Hacker's Speech promoted by ITBH. This year, too, the meeting is aimed at presenting the unexplored
aspects of computer security, with particular respect to new technologies. Some of the approached themes are: a history of ethical hacking, social engineering, encryption, man-in-the-middle attacks, and wireless network insecurity. After technical speeches, a forum will be held, and the public is invited to actively join it.

The meeting is aimed at presenting unexplored aspects of computer security, showing vulnerabilities hidden in computer technologies - both well and less known - and proposing 'underground' methods to understand and solve them. We'll see the importance of a meeting between the 'hacker' culture and the official one in order to enhance ICT security.
Speeches will be extremely technical, and possibly followed by demos.

This first official conference presenting the Blackhats.it project took place in the SMAU Security Area in 2001. Among the discussed themes, with frequent interventions from the public, were hacking history and philosophy (Nobody),
hacking as a social phenomenon (Naif), borders between hacking and crime (A. Scartezzini), hacking as scientific
research (Raptor) and security coming from the underground (Koba).
